Get Down in the Valley

Join us Saturday, August 29th for Lost River Cave and Valley's Annual Fundraiser "Get Down in the Valley." The event will feature local blues musicians Ernie Small Blues Band. Wetlands Cleanup

On July 18, 2009 we were lucky enough to have 5 Volunteer Boy Scouts pull invasive weeds from the new Wetlands. All in all they volunteered 12.5 hours! Chris Mayhew and his son Cody as well as Robert Upchurch with his grandsons Dustin and Justin Glass all donated their Saturday to the betterment and beautification of the wetlands.

Butterfly Release

Thank you to all who fought the rain and came out to our Annual Butterfly Release. We hope that you all had a great time and we would love to see you all come back to visit our park! To anyone who missed the butterfly release you are still able to visit the Butterfly Habitat to check out the 200 butterflies that were released, among the species released were beautiful Monarchs (as pictured in the previous blog)

New Wetlands Deck
