A New Use for the Sluice!

Jory McCawley and Gabe McGrew visited Lost River Cave yesterday with the "Moms Club of Bowling Green." While they were here, they took a hike! However, the hike wasn't through the woods, it was through the sluice trough! We are always looking for new ways for the youngsters to have fun at the park! Big Red Blitz at Lost River Cave

All of these awesome workers came to Lost River Cave and Valley today as part of WKU's MASTERPLAN Program! Students and "Western Leaders" were encouraged to volunteer around the city today, and we were lucky enough to have these great helpers come to the valley! They spent their morning pulling invasive plants from the Wetland, stickered hundreds of sluice bags, and picked up trash along the perimeter of the park!

Thanks to Blair Silliman, MASTERPLAN coordinator and Coordinator of First Year Student Programs, for all of her great work planning this event!
